We offer a discreet plant, planting and planning advisory service that enables you to talk through your designs and receive expert advice on all aspects of your vision for the garden.

Our service includes advice on unusual, adverse or difficult planting conditions such as exposed rooftops, through to gardens with little or no natural light, advice on how to resolve planning stipulations connected with existing or new plants and trees as well as on screening and privacy considerations.

When plants fail or perform poorly we provide discreet advice as to the likely cause and provide practical solutions to resolve the situation.

Starting with a confidential discussion we will then accompany you on a site visit to determine why the plants are not flourishing. This often involves an assessment of the plants, a soil and drainage analysis and inspection of the irrigation and maintenance schedules in place.

We will then provide you with a comprehensive report with recommendations on how the garden can be brought back on track and sustained year after year.

Different planting schemes require different soil, drainage and irrigation systems from the start.

As part of our service we will take soil samples to understand its organic make up, pH and nutrient levels. You will receive a detailed report of the results alongside recommendations for the types of plants, irrigation and maintenance schemes required.

Irrigation systems are often a key part of any planting scheme, and we can assess your design and independently advise what is required at the very start of your design process.

Plant health is so important when it comes to creating and sustaining a successful garden.

However, with harmful plant pests on the increase it is more important than ever to make sure plants are sourced, transported and stored correctly and from known origins. Whether aphids or box caterpillars, we can be sent a sample or photograph or undertake a site visit to make an assessment. We will then propose a treatment – organic wherever possible – to provide a lasting solution.
